Flowers, Flowers And More Flowers!

What type of flowers are you using for your special day? Mr. T and I have decided to go primarily with hydrangeas and roses, all in various shades of ivory/cream.

We will have 30 centerpiece arrangements, one sign-in table arrangement, and an aisle lined with rose petals. I can wait to show you how it all turns out!

Color Board: Spring!

I have to say that I am so happy that the sun is shining again. I love spring! The flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and love is in the air.

Summer Color Board - Red and Orange

I don't know about where you are today, but it is rainy, windy, and cold here.  I need to get warmed up!  And what better way, than with a summery color board.

I absolutely LOVE the details in this inspiration board that I found on Groom Sold Separately:

Purple Passion

I am on a color board kick lately!  Don't get me wrong, I love my wedding color combo of chocolate brown, ivory, and moss green, but I keep coming across beautiful color boards and I just have to share!

The color of the day is.... Purple!  Look at how different these three boards are, while all keeping with a purple color scheme.  I love the shoes from the first, the decor from the second, and the flowers from the third.

Yellow Color Inspiration

I ran into another future Mrs. at my hair appointment the other day and was inspired! 

She loves bright yellow, but didn't want to go too country or tropical.  Look at the great color inspiration boards I found!  It's hard for me to pick a favorite, as I like each for a different reason.

The Lovin' Lemons look is close to my heart because I love lemons!  One of our cake layers is a white cake with lemon filling; delicious! 

Classic Gold is just beautiful. I love everything about it.  Don't you just love the bridesmaid dresses?  It's country done right.

And last, but not least, Modern Sophistication.  I really like how the decor is a mixture of traditional and non-traditional.  The bright yellow really packs a punch against black and white decor, without clashing.  Gorgeous!

Changing Color Schemes?

Okay.  I admit it.  When I went to Michael's to look at invitations and I almost changed the entire color scheme of the wedding.  I fell in LOVE with ivory and gray as a color combo!  I mean, who wouldn't after seeing a sampling of these invites?

I immediately called Mr. T, who luckily talked me down from the ledge ;-)

That didn't stop me from looking up inspiration boards as soon as I got home! 

Aren't these gorgeous?!?  I think I'll use these as inspiration for our master bedroom. 

To Theme or Not To Theme

Does your wedding have a theme?  There are some really out of the box ideas out there!  Like this circus themed one.

Then there are the more traditional "color themes."  These are three that I love!
