I never thought that I would be getting married on a holiday weekend, and here I am getting married the Saturday of Easter weekend (YEAH April 23rd!!!). I know that some people will be able to make it because it's a holiday and others will not, for the same reason.
I have a friend who is getting married on Memorial Day weekend. She is hoping that the majority of her invitees can make it, since they all have to travel for the wedding.
How do you feel about weddings that are scheduled on holiday weekends? Are they easier or harder to attend?
Personally I think it's easier but I'm biased since it was my idea to have a wedding on Veterans' Day. Most of my guests should have the day off and then they get the rest of their weekend. Win-Win.
